The Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life produces two newsletters to help communicate with members of the Sorority and Fraternity Community, as well as to communicate to the campus communuity and any interested student thinking of "Going Greek".
The Community Newsletter is designed to communicate with any member of the Sorority and Fraternity Life community, or any interested member of the campus community (including incoming students) on:
Recruitment efforts (*a recruitment edition is sent out over summer)
Community programs (upcoming events, educational programs, etc.)
Leadership Development opportunities
Campus and community/business ads (ads can include volunteer needs, internships, etc.)
Frequency: The Community Newsletter is every other Monday during the academic year.
Submissions: To submit ads to the Community Newsletter, please complete the Submission Form below and pending approval, we will get in our next issue:
Submission deadline: All requests must be received by noon on the Wednesday before the upcoming newsletter is sent out.
The President's Newsletter is a weekly newsletter sent to the president's of all registered Sorority and Fraternity chapters and governing councils.
Frequency: The President's Newsletter is emailed to each president every Friday during the academic year (occasionally during summer).
Submissions: To submit a request to have an ad in the Community Newsletter, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and have your subject line read: President Newsletter request *DATE*: TITLE and DATE (i.e. President Newsletter request 9/1/16: Student Housing volunteers needed) - include all necessary information in the body of the email.
Submission deadline: All requests must be received by noon on the Wednesday before the Friday you want your information to go out.
